Leonor Y. Dicdican
Leonor Y. Dicdican is a member of the firm's Real Estate and Business Law Department. Her practice involves general business, corporate finance, and health care matters. She represents a wide variety of clients (ranging from large corporate entities to small business owners to individuals) in matters of varying complexity in connection with general business and contract matters. She has addressed and managed a variety of issues related to companies in different stages of development, including choice of entity, entity formation and general corporate formation and maintenance. She has also counseled clients on corporate governance and securities issues. Leonor has represented buyers and sellers in all aspects of public and private mergers, acquisitions, private placements and venture capital financings. She has also assisted clients in raising capital through debt or equity financing.
Prior to joining the firm, Leonor was an associate at a national firm in San Francisco where she worked on securities and mergers and acquisitions matters. She was also an associate attorney at The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, where she counseled a wide variety of business units on trademarks, antitrust, securities, corporate and marketing matters.
Leonor is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the State Bar of California. She is also licensed to practice in the State of New York and in the Republic of the Philippines.
Leonor graduated from the University of the Philippines in 1991 with a degree in Business Administration and Accountancy (magna cum laude) and in 1995 with a degree in law (cum laude). While at law school, Leonor was Vice-Chairperson of the Philippine Law Journal. She received her LL.M. in International Economic Law from the University of Michigan in 1998, where she was a recipient of the University of Michigan Law School Fellowship.
