John Garner is an associate attorney in Diepenbrock Harrison's Land Use and Environmental Law Department. John represents clients in state and federal litigation, as well as administrative proceedings.

Prior to joining Diepenbrock Harrison in November 2009, John's practice focused on the defense of healthcare providers in both state and federal court, and the representation of medical and biotech companies against products liability lawsuits and consumer class actions. He has also represented companies in complex negotiations and commercial disputes. He has, in addition, second chaired multiple jury trials, and gained significant experience in appellate practice.

John obtained his B.A. from the University of California, Davis, in Economics and Political Science in 2003. He obtained his J.D. from the University of San Diego in 2006. During law school, John was a student comments editor for the USD International Law Journal, and has authored articles published in scholarly journals including the USD Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues.

John is also currently a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association.
