Joel Patrick Erb
Principals
Joel Patrick Erb is a principal of Diepenbrock Harrison and vice-chairman of the firm's Real Estate and Business Law Department. Joel's practice focuses on advising clients with respect to all aspects of real estate transactions and related business matters, including drafting and negotiating real estate leases, sales agreements, loan documents and other related agreements, with particular emphasis on projects involving infill redevelopment and/or retail leasing. Representative clients include counseling Thomas Enterprises in its efforts to redevelop the historic downtown Sacramento Railyards and Oxbow Market, L.P. in its development of the Oxbow Public Market in Napa.
Joel is admitted to practice in California and New York. Prior to joining the firm, Joel was an associate at Morrison Foerster LLP in Sacramento, and Kramer Levin Naftalis and Frankel in New York City. He received his history degree magna cum laude with departmental honors from Tulane University, and his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law following his participation in the prestigious Boalt-Harvard Law School exchange program.
